New Class- At The Art Room

Drawing and Painting mixed media-

we will use a variety of materials in this class- ex- fabric , dyes, inks, chalk, oil pastels,and water colors.

Fashion Fun We will create a variety of jewelry pieces, bags and fun accessories with a wide array of materials

Sewing 2- learn to use a pattern, make a quilt and create personal sewn items from original patterns

Projects In Wood - we will learn about taking raw wood to a finished produce by cutting, sanding and finishing

 Class Descriptions

 Girls Art and Crafts 

(a combination of All American Girl, and Arts and Crafts)-we will make Holiday crafts, sew, and create fun crafts for girls and their dolls!

All American Girl

This class is designed for you and your doll we will make jewelry, clothing, furniture and accessories for your 18 inch doll       

Arts and Crafts 

We will explore the changing seasons and holidays of the year, while creating beautiful decorations and art work. Projects will include drawing, painting, wood products and many different types of media.

Boys Art

Just what it says- Art projects designed for the boys. Drawing, Painting 3d and 2d projects.

Drawing & Painting Techniques 

This class is designed for students interested in improving their love of drawing and painting. We will explore shape & form, color, and shade & light.

Fashion Fun

We will create a variety of jewelry pieces , bags and fun accesories with a wide array of materials.

Teens Art

This is a fun, creative class that will focus on projects specifically designed for this age group. We will create bedroom decorations (i.e. memo board, etc.), personal accessories (i.e. jewelry, etc.), and much more! Students will have an active role in the focus of which projects will be done in this class. It's all about You!!!

Tiny Tots Arts (pre school/K)

We will explore the changing seasons and holidays of the year, while creating beautiful decorations and art work. Using age appropriate materials and topics.

Introduction to Sewing

Students will be exposed to hand and machine sewing. We will work with different types of fabric and create fun projects.

Sewing 2

learn to use a pattern, make a quilt and create personal sewn items from original patterns

Simple Quilting (adult)

In this class you will choose to make the T-shirt quilt, the Rag quilt, or strip quilt.  These projects can be a fun, creative family heirloom with a modern twist. Everyone can do this....

For the shirt quilt you will be asked to bring your own sewing machine and about 30t-shirts for a lap quilt (50in.x60 in - may be smaller if t-shirts are smaller or more can be added).

A supply list will be provided to you at sign up.

Scrap booking (all ages)

This is an exhilarating class that will help you finish a started scrap book...or start a new one! You will need to bring your photos and memories so you will be able to enjoy wide open space to create your masterpieces, with the help of the Cricut Expression Cutter that will be available for your use.
